Most women are expected to have beautiful and glowing skin when they are pregnant. Unfortunately this is not always the case since the glow usually comes from pregnancy because the hormone changes the body of the woman through, a different reaction must be expected. Some women may break out during the entire stage of their dressing while others may have acne only during the first quarter.  Some women also find dry skin and simply select a few start and finish their dressing all of them. If you are pregnant and want to maintain a good complexion throughout your duration, it is important that you have a good skin care routine. The following tips can help you to achieve how proverbial the pregnant glow: 

1. Improve Your skin care products

Your skin has different needs compared to your skin before pregnancy due to hormonal changes may cause your skin to become oil or dry, you may need to adjust and replace the products you use. Some skin care products may contain ingredients that are not suitable for pregnant women.  Consult your doctor and dermatologist for a safe skin care product for pregnant women. 

2. Switch to moisturize the body.

Skin in your body also requires special care during pregnancy. Stress and injuries caused by elongation due to an increase in your skin can be dry and itchy.  Using SOAP can cut your skin out of natural oils and reduce softness. Change to give moisture to clear the body to revitalize moisture on your skin and prevent itching and dryness. 

3. Load up in sun protection

The sensitivity of the skin increases during pregnancy, which means that it is easier to get irritated and damaged when exposed to the sun. Avoid skin irritation, dryness, and use sunscreen as part of your daily skin care routine.  

4. Pamper your

The skin in your abdomen is continuously stretching throughout the period of your pregnancy. This stretching can result in stretch marks long after you have been given birth. Prevent stretch marks with your belly massage with a gel or pregnant cream to moisturize.  

5. Pay attention to your breasts

Your stomach is not the only thing that extends during pregnancy. Your breasts also increase the size to prepare for lactation. The skin on the chest and your nipples are particularly delicate, which can lead to itching and dryness. Using a nipple cream on your chest can reduce dryness while wearing a maternity cotton bra can help reduce itching. 

6. Easy to make up

Less should be your motto when using makeup during your pregnancy. Stick to the foundation or concealer, loose powder and a multipurpose color stick is what you need to put on the face scrub. Since the skin during pregnancy is important and prone to irritation, the selection of moisture, allergies, and cosmetics that are not comedogenic as needed. 

Following these tips will help you to achieve good skin during your pregnancy. Aside from this, balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient relaxation are still the most basic things you can do for a good pregnancy and even better skin.
